Abbas Kachmar
Registered Physiotherapist at Prime Physio Plus
Abbas is a registered physiotherapist who earned his Master of Physical Therapy from Western University after completing his Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa.
Throughout his clinical training, Abbas gained experience in a variety of settings, including sports medicine, outpatient musculoskeletal rehabilitation, geriatric rehabilitation, and acute care. These experiences helped shape his passion for helping individuals of all ages and activity levels improve their mobility, regain confidence, and return to the activities they enjoy.
Abbas believes that effective physiotherapy begins with listening and understanding each patient's unique experiences, concerns, and goals. He takes a patient-centred approach to care, combining education, individualized exercise programs, and hands-on treatment to help patients take an active role in their recovery.
Outside the clinic, Abbas enjoys playing basketball, running, and spending quality time with friends and family. As an active individual himself, he understands the importance of movement and strives to help others stay active and do what they love.
